Hello,
I am from Belgium and have a question that nobody seems to be able to answer around here...Can you help?
Ignition timing for the Volumex engine is supposed to be 10 degrees at 1000 RPM. I am having a hard time finding the mark for timing it correctly. I don't even talk about the mark on the crankshaft pulley as it is not accessible due tot he compressor. If I look at the rear of the inlet cam pulley (firewall side) I can see one specific brass pointer at about 10 'o clock and of course the usual thick mark on the cambox at about 2 'o clock. That one theoritically shows TDC or 0 degrees if I am right. What does the brass one at 10 ' clock show? O degrees or 10 degrees? Can it be used for setting the ignition timing? Thanks for your input.
